Information required for Fire Radio Apps.

  • App Title – This is the title of the App as it appears on the Fire platform.
  • App description (short) – A brief description for your app, this appears on the App stores.
  • App description (long) – A longer description for your app, this appears on the App stores.
  • Keywords – A list of keywords to identify your app in user searches.
  • Contact email address – Your contact email address. Note that this may be visible in the Skill stores.

Images required for Fire Radio App.

We require various high quality logos from you, we will derive all the other logos required from these two. Please ensure they are of the highest quality to avoid Fire rejecting the App.

  • Channel Store Icon must be 512×512 pixels in size (square) and PNG format. This image will be used inside the App as the channel logo.
  • Background Store logo Splashscreen must be 1920×1080 pixels (wxh) in size and PNG format. This image will be used as the App background image and the App Splashscreen (appers on app load).
  • Channel logo (in-screen) must be 1500×634 pixels (wxh) in size and PNG format. This image is used as the in-screen station logo.

Additional information required

  • Live stream information.
  • Streams may be in MP3 or AAC+ formats and available 24/7. For MP3 we recommend a minimum of 128kbps, for AAC+ a minimum of 64kbps. Note that Fire may remove channels that fail to broadcast reliably.

Adverts

  • Advert images must be 600×600 pixels in size, in .PNG format and will be uploaded via the dashboard (if you wish to serve adverts).

Ticker

  • You may update the ticker via the control panel in real time. If you do not wish to make use of the ticker, simply leave the ticker field blank.

Image / Cover art

  • The reliability of displaying artist images / cover art relies on the metadata you provide. You should ensure that all metadata (IDv3 tags) display the correct data (Artist – Song Title).

Terms and Conditions of Service

  • There will be no setup charge for design, development, publishing (except re-publishing) or hosting costs. All of these costs are included in the currently displayed monthly charges for the ‘Fire TV App’ service.
  • Fire TV Apps will be developed as per the demo app ‘Hit Music 80s‘ available in the ‘Music’ category of the Fire platform. Please view this demo channel before signing up.
  • Logos will be supplied by the customer as part of the setup process.
  • The customer will provide the necessary information requested in a timely manner, information includes mandatory images and information to be submitted to the Fire platform. Failure to supply this information in a timely manner will lead to delays in publishing the app to the Fire platform.
  • Fire may take up to 7 days to publish your channel, IBADALIVE  cannot influence the time it takes for apps to be approved by Fire.
  • The Fire TV App will be published under the IBADALIVE developer licenses. Source code or builds will not be released at any stage.
  • Apps are published, hosted and maintained by IBADALIVE  while a monthly subscription is active. If a monthly subscription is cancelled, the App may be unpublished at any time at the end of the billing period. If an App is disabled/removed, a republishing fee will be charged.
  • Fire TV Apps are compatible with all Fire products currently available.
  • IBADALIVE  will ensure that sufficient precautions are taken to ensure platform availability to support the app usage for its customers and will provide service credits for any downtime of its own platform (this does not include third party outages). Credits will never exceed the monthly equivalent of the service paid.
  • IBADALIVE  will publish apps to the Fire platform within 48 hours (2 working days) of receiving the order and complete details. Fire may take up to 7 days to publish your channel, IBADALIVE cannot influence the time it takes for apps to be approved by Fire.
  • IBADALIVE will provide a refund if the app is not successfully published to the Fire platform ONLY if it is due to an issue with the functionality of the app itself. This does NOT include issues with customers streams, content, missing or incomplete information submitted which could lead to the app being rejected. IBADALIVE  will not publish apps until all information and details requested (above) are submitted in their entirety.
  • To display metadata (song information and artist images/cover art), this information must be present within your audio stream or be available via a compatible streaming platform. We support all major streaming platforms. If in doubt, please check before signing up.
